HISTORIC MOVIE LOCATION FILMING IN THE CONEJO VALLEY

WILDWOOD

The first four photos show Avenida De Los Arboles, looking west.  Just before the end of  the road and on what is now the last 100 yards or so of Avenida De Los Arboles were western movie sets, which were used mainly for  the "Gunsmoke", "Have Gun, Will Travel",  "Wanted, Dead or Alive" TV shows.   An earlier group of movie sets were torn down in 1947.  Those sets were used for many of  the Hopalong Cassidy films, etc.
